March Goals 2018
I have started using my bullet journal more and want to use it this month and focus on my habit tracker and building up some kind of routine as well. I have periods of being really productive and good with my habits but it doesn’t last long.
I’m quite a visual person so colouring in my habit tracker every day will get me to work harder on building my habits. It will also help me remember what I’m focusing on because my memory isn’t great either. I’ve been messing around with different layouts as well so will share my findings soon as to which I prefer.
6 posts for the month. This one is as simple as it seems. I really love blogging and just don’t make enough time for it. I’ve been so obsessed with my social numbers that I am finally seeing I need to focus on the quality and eventually readers will come. I got a blog planner for my birthday last year so I’m going to plan the 6 posts in there and tick off every time I achieve a certain part of the process; draft, pictures, promoting, scheduling etc.
This one is making what feels like its millionth appearance. I’m going to be more realistic and say that I want to drink a litre of water a day. I know I should be drinking more but at least I am drinking some. I just need to build the habit of drinking water before/during/after certain things in my routine.
I will be posting regular updates on this to Vero and Twitter as it’s the one goal that if I don’t do it then there could be some very serious repercussions. If y’all are friends with me on Twitter then please remind me of this goal regularly.
This pertains to my blog. I know I said that I want to focus on the quality of my content but I also want to experiment with times and days of posting to see what is most effective. I also want to schedule a few twitter posts to previous blog posts every week to keep them alive.
It’s also a good idea for me to research and establish a checklist for blog posts as I don’t really know where I can or should be sharing content and also what to be doing straight after I post.

February Goals 2018
So, the plan was 12 hours. I managed 30 minutes. I’ve been really stressed lately and by the time it gets to 5 all I want is to go home and sleep. We can most certainly call this one a fail. I’ve been a little more realistic for the month of March with this one.
I tried. I really tried with this one. Unfortunately the more stressed out I get, the less I drink. I know it’s literally the opposite of what I should be doing but I need to make more of a conscious effort to work on this. March sees me using my habit tracker to track whether I’ve had the right amount of water for the day. Hopefully, colouring pretty boxes will be motivation enough!
So I technically did this one but I haven’t managed to go as much as I’d like. The “Beast from the East” has meant I’ve been stranded at home for the last 3 days as well. I’ve added my gym sessions to my habit tracker and will also be rewarding myself when I go to the gym 2 times a week or more. It’s relating to a budgeting tool I’m trialling so I will share it in a post if it works!
I’ve done a few tarot readings since getting my cards and have got it on my to-do list for this month to find out more about tarot in general. I might do a post on my cards and my experiences so far with them in the future as they’re so beautiful and intriguing.
So, as per usual I didn’t do great in February but the only way is up from here at least!
