25 lessons I’ve learned in 25 years

I turned 25 yesterday. It’s kind of made me feel old now… This being said I decided to put together 25 of the most important things I’ve learnt during my time alive. Keep reading to see the list!

25 lessons I’ve learned in 25 years

1. If you don’t have anything nice to say; really don’t say anything at all
2. Compliment people regularly
3. Do whatever your heart desires (given its legal of course!)

5. Cherish all the time you have with those you love
6. It’s never as bad as you think
7. Talk about problems
8. Know when to ask for help
9. School may suck but really is a simpler way of life
10. Continually improve yourself
11. Listen more
12. Take time out to reset
13. Try your hardest at everything you do
14. If you don’t like where you are then move
15. You don’t need anyone to validate you
16. Don’t be so hard on yourself
17. Save money where you can
18. Grow up when necessary (I’m 25 and seriously don’t know how to cook or iron…)
19. Wear what you like (albeit tasteful…)
20. Travel where you can
21. Connect with people
22. Time management makes a huge difference
23. Set goals regularly to improve motivation and productivity
24. Don’t hold a grudge
25. Drink more water!

  1. I always tell people your views change at 20, 23, 25, 28 and 30. I feel like there’s so much growth and life that fill those years that ultimately help us determine who we are and who we want to be.

I’m glad to see people who are on their way to that path! Cheers to 25!
