2018 was a strange year. I had a lot of highs and lows but in the end, I made it through a better person than the year before.
I’ve put together a list of goals/resolutions for 2019 and I hope to achieve all of them.
Participate in 2 or more charity events
I participated in the 5km bubble rush for charity last year and it was so amazing. I had so much fun, it was really hard but so fulfilling. I hope to do that one again this year and at least one other event. If anyone knows of any cool charity events I’d love to know!
Lose 40 pounds and exercise more
I’ve managed to lose 20 pounds at the end of the year and am trying to be better with what I eat and about getting my steps in. I really like running and yoga as well so I want to try and do these a few times a week.
I have a Fitbit and I love it so if you want to be friends then my Fitbit username is KBChaos. 🙂
Work on ways to monetize my blog
I’ve worked on learning more about blogging and doing it more often. I now want to take the time to monetize and utilise my blog in the best way I can. If anyone has any links to guides they’ve posted then that would be great!
Post to Instagram 184 times
This is just over half the amount of days in the year. I find it so hard to gain any followers on Instagram so I now want to focus on posting and engagement.
30 or more blog posts for the year
I’m so into blogging again and I can’t wait to share all the ideas I have! I want to try and post 3 times a month if possible and maybe more. I’m really looking forward to it!
Drink 2 litres of water or more a day
This one is pretty obvious. I struggle with kidney issues and am hoping drinking more water will lessen these and make me feel so much better.
Save any extra income for my wishlist and bigger items
I’ve taken a look recently at the bigger items I want to save up for and this would be a good motivator for working on my side business ideas. Keep an eye out for my wishlist posts later.
I will be the first to admit that I don’t cook ever. I really don’t cook from scratch at all either. My younger sister was kind enough to gift me a slow cooker, therefore, I want to start using that to prepare things for when I’m home. I’m actually really excited. Recipes, please.
Start making candles again
I have a big love for candles, especially peppermint scented ones. I bought a kit a few years ago to make the candles and I found it again when I moved into my place and really want to do it again.
Plan a week in advance
I leave a lot of what I do to the last minute and it really stresses me out. 🙈 I have all the tools I need to manage my time and I’m just not utilising them. I’ve got a cute diary and a cool app that actually helps me so I’m going to try and get ahead.
Leave the country
My passport is one of the most redundant things I own at the moment. I really want to travel and America is one of the places that is top on my list. I want to try and fund my trip through side businesses and overtime at work so I can enjoy it. This year will be the year! 💖
So there we have it. I have a lot of plans for this year and I can’t wait to see what it brings. I’ll be doing updates whenever I significantly check off one of the goals. What are your resolutions for this year?
